Friendship is a mission church planted out of Friendship Baptist Church – Dallas. The first Sunday Service was held on July 24th, 1960. This year, we celebrate our 63rd Anniversary.
Our first pastor, Bro. E.D. Surratt, came back to join as a member and still attends church with us. Bro. Bob Whitten pastored our church for 45 years and retired on March 17, 2019 and attends currently as well.
The Lord has blessed us with 6 amazing children; Cason, Conleigh, Copelynn, Canon, Collins, and Crew. We are excited to be a part of such a welcoming, loving church. This church truly lives up to its name. We know the struggles of this life, and want to walk with people through this life as we follow Christ.
