When you walk through our doors, you will understand why we are called Friendship. Our church is truly a living reflection of that name — a place of welcome, fellowship, and Christian love.
Friendship Baptist Church is a missionary church, the result of a church plant by Friendship Baptist Church of Dallas. We held our first service on July 24, 1960.
Our first pastor, dear Brother E.D. Surratt, is now an active member of the church and continues to worship with us. Brother Bob Whitten faithfully served as pastor for 45 years and retired on March 17, 2019. Today, he also remains among us, worshiping and serving the community.
Our Pastors
Pastor Cameron and his wife, Christina, became part of the Friendship church family at the end of March 2022. They feel deeply blessed to serve in a church that truly lives up to its name — marked by warmth, love, and genuine community.
The Lord has graciously entrusted them with six wonderful children: Cason, Conleigh, Copelynn, Canon, Collins, and Crew. Together, their family joyfully walks alongside others through the highs and lows of life, always seeking to follow Christ faithfully.
With hearts full of compassion, they desire to walk alongside those facing life’s challenges, offering encouragement, support, and the hope found in Jesus.
