What should I expect?

Frequently asked questions

What will the services be like?

Friendship gathers on Sunday mornings to worship God, grow in our faith, and encourage one another. This time is set aside to reflect on Jesus' victory over death, allowing us to have life in Him. Our service is Christ-centered, making Jesus the reason we gather.

How long will the service last?

Our Sunday morning service typically lasts about an hour and a half.

What should I wear?

Attire ranges from casual to business casual, but our deepest concern is not what you wear. More than anything, we want you to feel welcomed and encouraged to join us in worship.

What happens beyond Sunday morning service?

Friendship offers a variety of opportunities to engage in our mission: Glorify God, Reach the lost, Teach believers to mature, and Equip believers to serve. We have ministries for all ages, from Friendship Kids to our Senior Adult Ministry.

What about my kids?

Friendship Kids is at the heart of our church's future. Our children's ministry provides age-appropriate Bible teaching up to 3rd grade, including Sunday School at 9:45 AM and Children's Church during our Sunday morning service.

For children in 4th–6th grade, Friendship Kids offers Sunday School at 9:45 AM. At our 10:50 AM service, we encourage them to participate in worship. This stage is critical, as 63% of people come to faith before age 14. We want 4th graders and older to witness their church family worship and serve, so they can be inspired to engage in corporate worship and service.

What about my teenagers?

Friendship Youth serves 7th–12th grade students with Bible Study at 9:45 AM, followed by their involvement in the 10:50 AM Sunday service, where they participate and serve.

Is Friendship a Christian church?

Yes! You can view our statement of beliefs here.

We believe the Bible is errorless and reliable. Scripture teaches that all people are sinners in need of a Savior. The wages of sin is death, and because we have all sinned, we fall short of God's glory. That presents a problem—death is a penalty we cannot pay.

But God made a way! He sent His Son, Jesus, who died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day. Jesus paid our sin debt by dying in our place, and through trust in Him, we can have life in Him.

How can I become involved?

We welcome everyone to attend and be involved, but church attendance is not the ultimate calling of the church. While it is important, we are called to more.

The church is called to love God and serve through its people, with each person using their unique gifts and talents to bless others. We are also called to make disciples—evangelizing the lost and continuously teaching believers to mature in their faith.

Every believer is called to take part in this mission! You can get involved by joining our church and embracing its God-given purpose.

What is Friendship like?

Friendship is, well... friendly! We are a welcoming church of broken people, navigating life's challenges in fellowship with God and one another.

We are imperfect people following our perfect God, who loves us deeply. And we want to share that love with others.
