Sunday morning prayer time –Everyone is invited to meet with the pastors and the deacons in the sanctuary each Sunday at 9:15 a.m. for a time of prayer.
Quilts for sale – The quilters now have two quilts for sale; the proceeds from the sale of these handmade items will benefit missions. If you are interested in buying a quilt, please contact Eva Boone.
Encounter Friendship services – Our contemporary services, Encounter Friendship, are held on the first and third Sundays of each month. Encounter Friendship services begin at 11:00 a.m. in the fellowship hall, and feature contemporary music and a less formal atmosphere than the traditional service, which begins at 10:50 a.m. each Sunday in the sanctuary.
There is a need for singers and musicians for the Encounter Friendship services. Contact Mark Cox if you can provide music for this service.

Women’s prayer breakfast – Saturday, May 16, in the fellowship hall beginning at 8:00 a.m. Please bring a breakfast item to share with everyone. The church will furnish the coffee and juice. All women are encouraged to attend.
Friendship class – The Friendship class will go to Babe’s restaurant on Saturday, May 16. Please meet at the church at 10:30 a.m. if you would like to ride in the church van.

Contemp0orary service – At 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 3, there will be a contemporary worship service in the fellowship hall; this service will feature contemporary music and a less formal atmosphere than the traditional service, which will begin in the sanctuary at 10:50 a.m. as usual. Jason Prewitt, director of the B.M.A.A. encampment, will bring the message for the contemporary service.

Walk for Life – A Walk for Life event, benefiting the Pregnancy Resource Center, begins at 9:00 a.m. at the Harbor at Rockwall on Saturday, May 2.
